It is used in flashing a BIOS and other firmware, Rufus is low-level utility software. Regardless of its small size, it feeds us with everything we need. Moreover, Rufus is very fast. For comparison, it’s about two times as fast as Universal USB Installer, UNetbootin, or on the creation of a Windows 7 USB installation drive using an ISO. It is also remarkably faster on the creation of Linux bootable USB from ISOs.
